Green: the Rung of all colours.

in the real world, when a recording company wants to get their album reviewed by a publication, they send the album to the person reviewing it asap. but in the world of Super Records and those working for it, they will take at least 3 weeks. and promise to send it the very next day every time they call or you call or whenever both of you happen to talk.

for all those people who aspire to have their own record label, do NOT piss off your reviewer. it seriously forms a bias against the company and the album that the reviewer is supposed to review. also, remember your WORK ETHICS. if you have promised someone a CD, give it to them ON TIME.

there were moments when i felt driven to the point when i didn't want to review the CD anymore. and to this day, i cringe at the thought of having to deal with Super Records again, simply because of the lack of professionalism that they displayed.

thanks to Orkut, the Rung management crew contacted me asking me whether i was the one who was going to review their album? when i replied in the affirmative, they asked me when it was going to be published? i told them, it had been weeks since i had been promised the CD and i still didn't have it, so i really didn't know when it would be published IF it was to be published.

i got the CD the very next day.

but what i noticed is —and this may qualify as serious bashing—  the record company didn't care.

which brings me to another point, do your homework before deciding which label to sign up with.
